You Keep Your Car.You Keep The Cash.

Lemonaid Firm represents drivers of defective vehicles under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and state lemon laws. We pursue cash settlements, not buybacks, not replacements. If your vehicle has been in the shop too many times for the same problem, you may have a case worth pursuing.

Most demands settle without ever filing in court. On prevailing federal claims, the manufacturer pays your attorney fees, not you.

Get ready to check your case

Have your VIN or license plate ready.

To check whether your vehicle may qualify, you'll need a few basic details about your car and repair history. Having your VIN or license plate nearby helps speed up the eligibility quiz.

The two laws that force manufacturers to pay cash.

We file under both when the facts support it. Federal MMWA provides the leverage; state law provides the presumption.

1

Take the case eligibility quiz

A few quick questions on your purchase, repairs, and warranty. The quiz tells you whether you likely have a case before you talk to anyone.

2

We review your documents

Upload (or text us photos of) your purchase agreement, every repair order, and warranty booklet. We tell you whether the facts support a state or federal claim.

3

We demand the manufacturer

Under MMWA and state lemon laws, the warrantor is the manufacturer, not the dealer. We file against Ford, Toyota, Tesla, BMW, whoever. Most demands settle without filing in court.

4

You get a cash settlement

You keep the vehicle. The manufacturer pays cash for diminished value. On prevailing claims under MMWA, we seek to have them pay our fees, separate from your settlement.

What makes this firm different.

Most lemon law shops are lead-gen funnels. We are not.

No padded cases.

If your situation doesn't qualify, we tell you straight. We turn away cases that don't have legs.

Real trial firm.

Joshua Feygin and Michael Citron handle the work. We don't sell intake leads to other firms.

Mobile-first by design.

Everything from your phone: take the quiz, upload photos, talk to us by text. No office visits required.

Cash settlements as default.

You keep the car. The manufacturer pays you cash for diminished value. Buybacks only when the facts make them the better answer.

Manufacturer pays your fees.

On prevailing federal claims, we seek to have the manufacturer pay our fees, not from your settlement.

Plain English.

No fine print, no legalese, no “we'll get the compensation you deserve” clichés.

We used Josh for an issue with a truck manufacturer and won. Whether it's a Ram or Toyota or Ford or any vehicle, don't let these dealers or manufacturers push you around… You will be impressed with his negotiating skills and push-back. He is the best!!

Deadlines apply

Lemon law claims expire.

Both the statute of limitations and your warranty window run out, sometimes sooner than you would expect, and a missed deadline can end an otherwise strong case. Check your timeline before it closes.

FAQs →

Common questions.

Straight answers before you talk to anyone.

What does it cost me?+

Nothing out of pocket on cases we take. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act lets a winning consumer's attorney fees be billed to the manufacturer, so on prevailing federal claims we seek to have the manufacturer pay our attorney fees, separate from your settlement. You keep your cash recovery.

Do I have to give my car back?+

No. Our default is a cash settlement where you keep the vehicle and the manufacturer pays you for its diminished value. We only pursue a buyback when the facts make it the better outcome for you.

My car is used or out of warranty. Do I still qualify?+

Possibly. The federal MMWA can cover used vehicles that still carry any written warranty, and most state lemon laws focus on newer vehicles. The only way to know is the facts of your purchase and repair history. Take the quiz and we will tell you straight.

How many repair attempts do I need?+

State lemon laws usually look for 3 to 4 attempts at the same problem within a set window. The MMWA uses a case-by-case standard of a reasonable opportunity to repair, with no fixed count. Keep every repair order.

Do I sue the dealer or the manufacturer?+

The manufacturer. Under both the MMWA and state lemon laws the warrantor is the automaker (Ford, Toyota, Tesla, and so on), not the dealership that sold you the car.

Is there a deadline to file?+

Yes. Both the statute of limitations and your warranty window can run out, sometimes sooner than you would expect, and a missed deadline can end an otherwise strong case. Check your timeline with our SOL calculator and take the quiz before your window closes.
